Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Teacher who loves to inspire and support a team of kaiako? Do you have an impressive range of skills and knowledge in ECE? Do you possess outstanding leadership capabilities?
We are on the lookout for a Team Leader to join our Busy Bees Naper Road team! As a Team Leader, you will be the heart of our team, guiding and supporting our passionate kaiako to provide an exceptional educational experience for our tamariki.
About us:
Busy Bees Napier Road in Havelock North believes that the environment is a child’s third teacher and strives to provide a nature rich environment with vast indoor and outdoor spaces. Our cosy Kōwhai Room and adventurous Redwood Room have their own large outdoor space filled with real grass and beautiful trees. Our natural spaces allow tamariki to connect with Papatūānuku (the natural world) and gives them the freedom to explore and have fun at within the safety of our early education centre environment.
What skills are we looking for?
- Committed to providing high quality education and care for all tamariki
- Passion for recognizing and documenting tamariki growth and emerging interest through programme planning and writing learning stories
- Engaged in ongoing learning and contribute to a supportive and welcoming team culture
- A can do and solution-based attitude
- A passion for creating environments that inspires our children to play, learn and grow
- An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and valid Practising Certificate in New Zealand
- A passion for over 2’s is a must!
