If you are passionate about enhancing programme operations and ensuring high standards of delivery, join us to review, streamline, and enhance the OSCAR and Holiday programme operations. Aligning with Te Kahui Kahu guidelines and Health Safety and Wellness policies, you will lead and support the implementation, training, and embedding of new policies, procedures, systems, and practices to ensure excellence in service delivery.
In this role, you will engage with support staff, Centre Managers, Leads, and administration staff to develop a comprehensive understanding of current systems and identify opportunities for improvement. Your insights will be crucial in reviewing customer feedback and conducting competitor analysis to enhance our customer experience and service delivery.
You will also have the opportunity to present your improvement recommendations to the Lead Team and lead the development and implementation of various initiatives. This includes training staff, assisting with system improvements, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high level of compliance and operational excellence.
This is a fixed-term, 6-month role. You will be based at Albert Street, Auckland Council Building but will be required to visit different Pools and Leisure Centres as needed.

Passionate about making a difference and enjoying working with people, your ability to analyse programme performance and guide future decision-making will be invaluable in ensuring the success of our service delivery.
Operating independently, visiting various venues to assess and practice OSCAR programs, as well as adept at refreshing policies and delivering training in a stand-alone role, your skills are crucial. Building strong relationships with Centre Managers and staff is essential for the successful implementation of new systems and practices. A proactive approach ensures effective management and support for the continuous improvement of our programmes.
We are looking for someone who:
- Have a strong understanding of the Te Kāhui Kāhu Standards for OSCAR Providers
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership in OSCAR or similar programming
- Prior experience in managing change and implementation across multi-site operations
- Experienced in developing policy and procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products
