At Aspire2 Education, we're passionate about helping every learner achieve their goals. As our Learner Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in improving programme completion rates by supporting learners and reducing the barriers that might otherwise hold them back. You'll be the connection between learners and their success - identifying those who may be at risk early, and offering the guidance, encouragement, and support they need to stay on track.
What you'll do:
From the moment a learner enrols, you'll be part of their journey. You'll work alongside programme staff to implement learner engagement processes, develop individual learning plans, and create an environment where every student feels supported and empowered. Your mahi will help all learners - including those in priority groups - remain engaged and motivated throughout their study.
You'll also champion learner voice initiatives, run focus groups, gather feedback, and help us continue to improve what we do.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring learner engagement and intervening early when support is needed
- Reviewing Te Whare Tapa Whā survey results and Digital Literacy Quiz responses
- Collaborating with tutors and learners to develop individual learning plans
- Reaching out to priority learner groups and supporting engagement escalation
- Identifying learners at risk of withdrawal and working to support them
- Planning and facilitating learner focus groups, collecting feedback and actioning improvements
- Supporting graduate outreach and post-study surveying
- Providing administrative support and liaising across departments
- Upholding the Code of Practice and Health and Safety legislation
What you'll bring:
You'll be an empathetic communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting learners from diverse backgrounds. You may have experience working in a student support team, a community-based support group, or another role where you've helped people overcome barriers and reach their goals. You'll be a great listener who can build trust and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
Why Join Us?
Aspire2 Education is dedicated to creating future opportunities for students through world-class IT programmes. As part of Aspire2 Group, we provide vocational training that empowers learners while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture where staff and students thrive.
If you're looking for a role with purpose, where your support can truly change lives, we'd love to hear from you.
