About the Role

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Lead to drive the strategy, architecture, and delivery of Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and desktop infrastructure across our village network.

Reporting to the Head of IT Services, this role blends technical leadership with stakeholder engagement, ensuring secure, reliable, and innovative workplace solutions that enhance staff productivity and support resident care.

Based in our Newmarket Support Office, we support a hybrid working model, allowing you the flexibility to balance remote and office work.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365, Windows, Teams, SharePoint, and other cloud services.
  • Drive the adoption of modern endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and MDM to enhance security, compliance, and user experience.
  • Ensure a secure, scalable, and well-managed workplace environment by implementing identity management, access control, and data protection strategies.
  • Work closely with business units to align workplace technology with organizational needs, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Partner with IT teams and vendors to deliver high-quality workplace services and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion the adoption of self-service capabilities, automation, and collaboration tools to improve user experience and efficiency.


About You

With 7+ years of experience in workplace technology operations, you are a hands-on technical leader with a strong focus on security, service management, and innovation. You are:

  • Experienced in managing Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint security, and modern workplace solutions.
  • Skilled in device management, with expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows deployment, and application security.
  • Strong in problem-solving, with an operational mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • A confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders, vendors, and end-users to drive technology adoption.
  • Familiar with service management best practices, including incident resolution, change management, and automation.
  • Holding relevant Microsoft certifications (highly desirable).
