We’re seeking a motivated Strategy, Policy and Compliance Officer to join our Organisational Performance and Innovation group at the Civic Centre. In this role, you will support Council’s vision by providing evidence-based analysis and insights across Policy, Corporate Planning, and Compliance, directly influencing community outcomes.
You will research policy issues, analyse legislative changes, prepare reports and presentations, and work with cross-functional teams to align policy with strategic goals. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, developing a compliance framework, and supporting corporate projects will also be key responsibilities.
The ideal candidate has experience in a complex organisation, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively. A tertiary qualification in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or related fields is desirable.
