This role will support the gathering, analysing, and reporting of large volumes of financial data, providing high-quality financial analysis, modelling, reporting, and management accounting services to aid managerial planning and commercial decision-making. To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will have solid financial and systems skills, along with a strong understanding of business needs and key drivers. Experience in large, complex organisations will be advantageous. The role requires strong analytically skills, a methodical approach, and excellent time management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete month-end reporting and generate insightful reports to support managerial planning.
  • Assist with designing, maintaining, and transforming financial models for business teams.
  • Provide financial planning and analytics, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Engage with stakeholders to drive business partnering and enhance financial decision-making.
  • Support corporate budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Contribute to a range of projects, offering financial expertise to drive success.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial reporting as needed.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will be resilient and comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels, with a natural ability to build and maintain robust relationships. The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a commercial or CA firm environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel (including Power Query) and financial modelling.
  • A strong understanding of financial statements, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets.
  • Experience with systems such as JDE, PowerBI, and IBM Planning Analytics is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
