As a Kitchen Manager, you will be in charge of the overall running of the kitchen and deliver our nutritious programme of meals to our valued residents. You will ensure the menu is followed and provide nutritional and well- presented meals. You will ensure the correct ordering of food supplies against special orders.

Duties include:

• Ensure all infection control policies and procedures are followed
• Telephone calls are dealt with appropriately
• Ensure appropriate quality standards are maintained
• Maintenance requests are referred to the catering manager
• Storage areas are clean
• Adherence to the food control plan

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in the same role
• Good organisational skills and reliability
• Personable with a positive attitude
• Experience leading a team is preferred, but not essential
• Qualification in the sector is preferred
