About the role
We are looking for a Senior Registered Nurse to help lead a team of passionate Registered Nurses and Caregivers at our lovely Coastal Villas Care Home in Paraparaumu, Kapiti Coast
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours a week from Tuesday to Saturday, but you will need to be flexible to cover RN shifts a few days a week as required. You will also be required to share the 'On call' responsibility and will be paid an 'On Call' allowance during this time.

Some of the great things you will be doing:
- Managing and overseeing a team of registered nurses, ensuring day to day high levels of clinical delivery. Ensuring clinical compliance meets auditing requirements.
- Supporting, identifying, and upskilling the needs and requirements of the registered nurses and care workers. As well as providing appropriate direction and delegation.
- Working and liaising closely with the Nurse Manager to undertake risk management, quality projects and improvements.
- Using your clinical skills to access and identify the needs of our residents to be able to formulate/review individual care plans.
- Ensure compassionate and excellent quality of care is provided to all residents.
- Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families/ whanau.
About you
We are looking for an experience Senior Registered Nurse who can deliver outstanding services to our residents and possess the essential skills and experience:
- Ideally leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate and First Aid Certificate
- Aged Care experience with management or Advanced Clinical Practice essential
- Current InterRai Certification
- Provides Nursing Practice in a culturally safe manner and supports the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
