Job Description
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for healthcare and building strong clinical relationships? An exciting opportunity exists with a well-established and respected medical device company for a Sales Representative to join their high-performing team. This role offers the chance to represent a trusted portfolio of surgical and hospital products across hospitals, surgical centers, and private clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell a full range of medical and surgical equipment to hospitals, surgical centers, and private practices.
- Support product evaluations and surgical case coverage in collaboration with the local Territory Manager.
- Deliver after-sales service to ensure long-term product satisfaction and support.
- Build strong working relationships with nurses, surgeons, hospital management, and other key decision-makers.
- Provide product education and training sessions (training provided).
- Monitor and report on competitive activity including pricing, design, and market positioning.
- Assist with territory planning, forecasting, and achievement of sales targets.
- Maintain accountability for company assets including product samples.
- Prepare detailed activity and expense reports and attend regular sales meetings, training, and conventions.
About You:
- Ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of sales experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other technical sectors is preferred.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Comfortable working in clinical settings and presenting to healthcare professionals.
- NZ resident or Citizen.
