Job Description

Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role

Join the Property & Assets team based in Wellington leading property leasing, projects, and contract management functions across the portfolio. Drive and develop commercial acumen across the team and leverage your experience in a large organisation on a national portfolio level. This includes supporting the Director Property & Assets with strategic portfolio planning, overseeing, and directing the writing of business and investment cases, development agreements, lease agreements, PMO maturity, contract rationalisation and contract management competence.

Mōu - About You

This role provides space for you to bring your extensive leadership and industry experience into organisation and mould the operating model in a way that benefits MPI. As a member of the Property & Assets senior management team you will have the opportunity to coach and mentor Property and Assets team members and use your influencing skills as a trusted adviser across MPI, other agencies and the broader property industry.

Showcase your people leadership experience within a high performing team leading up to six direct reports.

Note that there is travel required for this role approximately once every two to three months which could include staying overnight.

You must have a current full New Zealand driver licence (not temporary, learner, or provisional) or equivalent full foreign drivers licence, and any endorsements required for the type of driving you'll be doing.
