Job Description

The Company

Is a multi-disciplinary consultant who provide Structural, Geotechnical and Civil Engineering and CAD services to a range of clients across New Zealand, from their offices in Whakatane.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team.

If you want to lead the delivery of projects, be client focused and have a drive to find better ways, they want to hear from you.

You will need to be solution focused with good design and reporting skills.

About You

  • New Zealand Bachelor of Engineering Civil or Environmental
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within New Zealand
  • CPEng preferred, but not necessary
  • Strong technical and report writing abilities with experience in slope stability and liquefaction assessments, ground improvement, building foundations and other NZ specific geotechnical solutions
  • Strong leadership, whilst being a role model for promoting high work standards to deliver client projects on time and within budget
  • Thrive on a challenge and be motivated to provide innovative solutions for their clients
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients, as well as lead and contribute to project delivery.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people.
