Senior Manager, Private Bank Originations

  • Lead our Private Bank Originations team

Due to ongoing success and growth, this newly created leadership role is a pivotal opportunity to drive business growth, lead our high-performing Private Bank Originations team, and contribute to the delivery of our strategic priorities.

As a member of our Private Bank and Wealth Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Head of Private Bank, you'll spearhead our external growth strategy, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to attract high-net-worth clients. Your primary focus will be on developing strategic responses to growth opportunities and driving customer acquisition through strategic partnerships with external market participants. This is a true "hunter" role, requiring a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to drive growth and expand our Private Bank market presence.

Na tōu rourou - What will you bring?

  • Proven experience (min. 5-10 years) in financial services, preferably as an Authorised Financial Adviser, with a strong track record in new customer origination strategies.
  • Strong understanding of local and international financial markets, investment securities, property markets, and wealth transfer.
  • Tertiary qualification preferred, with excellent financial numeracy skills and ability to interpret technical material.
  • Confident user of technology solutions to drive productivity, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills, with an empathetic and inclusive management style.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with strong customer relationship management experience and proven networking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices with colleagues.
  • Existing network of professional services contacts.
