A well-established and growing company in the packaging industry is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to drive sales growth, develop a high-performing team, and contribute to strategic business success
With a positive, energetic, and fast-paced culture, we are looking for a passionate sales leader who enjoys being the primary touchpoint for key clients, is focused on business development, and has the strategic vision to collaborate with the General Manager to lead tactical growth.
This role offers national responsibility, with offices based on the North Shore.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a nationally based Sales Team (currently six direct reports) to help them achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to consistently meet individual and collective sales targets.
- Review and refine sales strategies, pipeline forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure sustained growth.
- Oversee client and supplier negotiations, securing the best outcomes for the business.
- Actively engage in business development, identifying opportunities for new partnerships and revenue growth.
- Develop and execute customer strategies that drive profitable business success.
About You
- Proven leadership experience, with a strong ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
- Experience as a Sales Manager or senior sales leader within the packaging industry (or a related sector).
- A strong track record of driving sales growth, managing teams, and achieving business objectives.
- Exceptional analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to forecast sales trends and monitor performance.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- A strategic mindset, capable of developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
- A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business Management or a related field.
