Are you an Experienced Class 4 Driver who is looking for a change? Our client is a Te Kauwhata based turfing specialist which produces high quality lawn turf for professional landscapers across Aotearoa.

You will be working in a small team to deliver turf to clients. Your day to day will involve loading pallets onto the truck and transporting product to respective clients. These delivery trips will usually be out and back within a day.

Someone suitable for this role will have had previous farm / agricultural experience and be willing to help with additional tasks onsite, and able to adapt to different machinery. This will include tractor operation to support with harvesting of turf and manual handling.

To be considered, you will have:

• Clean Class 4 Drivers Licence (Class 5 Licence and Experience would be beneficial but not a deal breaker)
• Current Forklift (OSH) and F Endorsement
• Previous experience driving a truck with Road Ranger Gearbox and curtain slider experience
• Tractor Operating Experience would be a HUGE benefit
• Previous farm / agricultural experience
• A dedicated work ethic and keenness to get stuck in with the team
• Being on the road is a great responsibility and safety is the highest priority!

About the role:

• Start times will vary from 5am pending seasonal requirements
• Monday to Friday
• $35.00+ pending relevant experience
• Class 4 delivery driving
• Operate a forklift to load and unload pallets from the truck
• Manual lifting up to 25kgs
• Ability to start ASAP
