We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills and experience, coupled with excellent time management and communication skills. The Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks according to specifications and blueprints
• Ensure the safety of self and others by following all Health and Safety guidelines
• Maintain and repair metal components as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
• Certification in welding techniques is a must
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Good time management and organizational skills

Day-to-Day

• Review work orders and blueprints to determine welding tasks
• Set up welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
• Perform welding tasks and inspect finished products
• Collaborate with colleagues to prioritise and complete tasks efficiently
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times
