About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and personable Finance Team Lead to play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Finance to achieve strategic objectives in a full time role. You'll oversee the Finance Administrators and Contracts Administrators, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Team Management: Lead and mentor staff, oversee training and performance, ensure team coverage, and manage financial systems improvements.
- Payroll & Commission: Process fortnightly payroll, ensure compliance, manage commissions and bonuses accurately and on time.
- Accounts Management: Oversee sales-related reconciliations, including referrals, invoicing, and marketing.
- Accounts Payable & Reporting: Approve payments, validate bank details, and manage debtor reporting and follow-ups.
To succeed in this role you'll need:
- Proven experience in a finance operations or team leader role.
- Proven payroll experience.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, and Excel.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills
