Leading hand | Otahuhu Based | $38+ per hour
Monday – Friday | 07:30am to 4:00pm (temp to perm)

Our client runs a sheet company based in Otahuhu, looking for an individual with the skills and leadership qualities able to motivate and lead on-site staff. Long-term employment opportunities for those with the right attitude and experience.

The role:
You will be an essential part of the project, building commercial apartments and working on the rail links in the CBD. Duties include the following

Provide on site guidance and support to all tradesmen assisting in the project
competently fabricating and welding various structures or components integral to the completion of the project
Actively participate in the fit out process, working with various tools
Liaise with contractors in a professional manner, organising resources and materials
Be committed to providing an excellent finished product
Work to tight deadlines and schedules

About you:

Must have proven on-site leadership experience. (at least 1 year)
Must be able to train/lead staff
Must be a qualified welder and fabricator
Must be site safe certified
Must be eligible to work in NZ, pass drug test, and have clean MOJ history.
Own transport with full class 1 license
