Libraries & Council Services Assistant –Devonport-Takapuna Local Board

We’re looking for a Libraries & Council Services Assistant to bring energy, creativity, and vibrancy to the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board area.

Primarily based at Takapuna Library, this is a permanent 22-hour per week position that includes a weekend day.

Our library whānau is dedicated to caring for each other, our community, and our environment. Takapuna Library is known for promoting and educating about climate action, and we’re eager to expand our work in this green literacy space. We love collaborating with community partners and welcome people from all walks of life.

Your mahi will involve supporting day-to-day operations, including Council Services, and contributing to the development and delivery of programmes driven by community needs. Every day is different—which is what makes it exciting!
