- Salary starting between $106,416 - $117,782 per annum dependant on experience
Clinical Services Oranga Tamariki has an exciting opportunity for one Registered Psychologist to join us in Auckland.

Clinical Services is a key specialist service of Oranga Tamariki providing psychological and therapeutic assessments and specialist interventions.
About the role | Mō te tūnga
This is a diverse and varied role that provides flexibility in the use of evidence-based intervention tools to achieve positive outcomes for tamariki and their whanau. Reporting to the Psychologist Team Leader, the successful candidate will gain exposure to comprehensive specialist parenting assessment work, assessments of children with complex care and protection histories, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and other therapeutic interventions. We infrequently are required to provide expert evidence in Court, rather are able to engage in psychological work in the community with tamariki and whanau who need it most.
Experience working with children in a care and protection environment, providing assessment and therapy with tamariki and their whanau/caregivers, and assessments of parenting capacity will be an advantage. The successful candidate will work with a number of differing ethnicities including Maori and Pacifica clients and will liaise with community providers.
