Job Description

Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Actively oversee and participate in the delivery and best practice by designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automation/functional test solutions across the WNZL landscape using the most appropriate tool set, and 'best practice' techniques and agile quality engineering practices.
Providing thought leadership and peer reviews across the WNZL community in regards to design and implementation of testing strategies & solutions and up-skilling and training of peers regardless of discipline.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
Essential:

  • 2 - 5 years experience in testing using commercial and/or opensource test tools across the testing pyramid
  • Experience with programming languages e.g., Java, JavaScript
  • Experience with API testing
  • Experience with UI automation
  • Experience with performance testing
  • Knowledge of Domestic Payment Ecosystem
  • Experience delivering major pieces of work in a complex agile/DevOps delivery environment
  • Practical experience in the design, implementation and execution of test solutions and frameworks
  • Experience in building and running CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in the interpretation of business requirements to determine robust testing scenarios
  • Understanding of MQ infrastructure
  • Understanding of the SDLC process
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint, Zephyr Scale tools
  • Strong communication skills and being a team player


Desirable:

  • Practical experience using Dynatrace / Splunk observability tools
  • Experience using the Host Mainframe
  • Experience using Playwright
