We are after a Digital and Product Marketing Manager who will help move prospects through the sales funnel, winning business and building our brand.

The Digital and Product Marketing Manager leads a small team that ensures the customer journey is optimised and measured across all possible brand interactions and across every stage of the sales funnel. The team continues to develop, leverage, and integrate an effective MarTech stack that assists New Zealand Couriers in being the market leader.
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week – in the office.
Cover from Feb/March until end-December 2025 (9 months)
Location: Penrose Head Office
About the role:
This role is pivotal to the ongoing success of New Zealand Couriers and Freightways, and you need to be ROI driven to succeed in this role.
New Zealand Couriers pick up, process, and deliver parcels around New Zealand and the world. We have been helping New Zealand businesses get products to their customers for over 60 years with our range of express and economy delivery services. Driven by a dedicated team of 1,400+ people, we deliver over 33 million parcels per year. We bring in over $300 million dollars a year in revenue.
Our marketing team exists to create, manage, and deliver targeted content to customers, prospects, staff, and the community to increase brand awareness, generate revenue, and develop quality long-lasting relationships.
The Digital and Product Marketing Manager plays a critical role in shaping and delivering digital/content and product strategies for NZC. It is a fast moving and often reactive business, and not everything is within your direct control – so you need to be resilient. You will be pulled in a number of directions, but as a curious and ambitious marketing professional who is data-driven, you will be improving our business every day.
The ideal applicant will:
- A digital native, you have 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and product management, preferably in B2B or services industries.
- You have a bachelor's degree in marketing, information technology, business, or a related field.
- You are an expert in digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, email marketing - social media, and display advertising are also valuable – you are strong when it comes to lead generation and performance marketing.
- You have experience managing the product lifecycle and have launched successful products and features on time and within budget.
- You have a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends and use data to inform decisions.
- You are an excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work cross-functionally.
- You have experience developing and executing strategies that support brand awareness, engagement, and conversion goals across multiple touchpoints.
- You have a track record of improving website usability, functionality, and performance to meet customer needs and expectations.
- You have experience managing a digital marketing technology stack.
- You are data driven, analytical and have experience developing and maintaining comprehensive digital analytics.
- You can manage good people and help them grow and succeed.
