He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

Join our team as a Production Supervisor at Dispatch Centre in Auckland, where you'll oversee the Packaging Department on a day-to-day basis to ensure core packaging outcomes, employee schedules, paperwork, and other responsibilities are met. This is a Permanent Full Time position rostered Monday to Friday during education terms only.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure all products are packed safely and efficiently, maintaining a sanitary environment that meets food safety regulations.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and the Logistics Manager to ensure enough packaging products are available and delivered on time for daily production/dispatch.
  • Take responsibility for daily packaging reports and dispatch programs, preparing labels for designated dispatch departments/sections.
  • Coach and lead the development of direct reports, conducting regular team meetings and one-on-one meetings.
  • Manage incoming dispatch goods and assist 'hands on' in the event of a reduced workforce.

  • A proactive customer service mindset with strong reporting and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain high accuracy and work quality standards.
  • Proven capacity to coordinate and drive projects from start to finish, capable of multi-tasking and effectively prioritizing workload in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in the hospitality or medium to large service-based industry is desirable.
