Operating in NZ for over 80 years, this well-known not-for-profit has been a key pillar of support for families all over NZ. They have offices located on Auckland’s Northshore and offer a friendly and supportive culture.
The Role
As the Credit Controller you will be reporting directly into the Finance Manager, working in a close-knit team of 3. You will play an integral part to the wider business where you will work on a project to clean up the debtors which in part has been created due to recent system changes. You will also be able to make recommendations around process improvements to ensure the function is running efficiently.
Your duties will include:
- Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention
- Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors
- Account reconciliations
- Generating and sending invoices to customers.
- Addressing and resolving payment discrepancies, disputes and billing issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of customers' payment history and debt recovery efforts
- Ad hoc duties as required
Your profile:
You will be a customer centric Credit Controller who has proven experience working on clean up projects or having significantly reducing debtors ledgers in prior roles. You will be confident in your approach and have the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and customers alike.
You will have experience working in high volumes and dealing with deadlines and have excellent communication skills. You will have intermediate to advanced excel skills and be open to liaising with many different personalities and situations
