Our Retail Operations and Transformation team maintain a strong focus on SAP support, in-store operations, and checkouts across all three retail banners. Monitoring a range of important metrics, the team are also involved in new store openings, ownership changes, and various business initiatives.
Te Tūranga – About the role
As a Senior Retail Lead you’ll be leading the scoping of all retail requirements for the wider customer engagement programme, advocating for the retail perspective in the programme planning process, and developing and executing on a comprehensive retail execution plan.
To do this, some of what you’ll do is:
· Develop the retail execution plan in alignment with wider programme objectives and deliverables.
· Ensure senior retail stakeholders, such as banner representatives, Heads of Banners and GM of Membership & Property, are fully engaged in the programme.
· Drive strong collaboration with other key stakeholders including banner teams, store owners and teams, marketing, programme team members and others required.
· Ensure expected retail execution expenditure is included in the wider programme budget and accurately reflects actual expenditure.

He kōrero mōu - About you
We’re looking for a strong project manager who has extensive experience delivering complex projects, or being part of teams delivering on significant programmes within a retail environment. The ability to effectively implement the strategic programme with our stores and their teams will be a critical element to our success.
You’ll also have:
· Proven experience engaging at a strategic level with senior stakeholders
· Experience in developing comprehensive project plans, establishing project delivery structure and driving deliverables through to successful execution.
· A background working within cross-functional teams on significant programmes, with the ability to navigate complex situations and ambiguity.
· Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects and landing change within a retail environment – we need someone who understands what it’s like to work in a retail!
· Experience with creating high quality outputs including clearly articulated project plans, stakeholder engagement packs and other content.
· The ability to work closely with a variety of stakeholders from all levels and effectively form networks across the organisation.
