About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys big-picture thinking and detailed delivery. You'll support the planning and reporting that underpins our strategic direction, from the Long Term Plan and Annual Plan to our internal business planning processes. You'll be working closely with the Corporate Planning Lead and colleagues across the organisation to make sure we stay aligned, transparent, and effective.
What You'll Do
- Supporting the development and monitoring of our corporate planning and reporting processes
- Advising on business planning and operational priorities
- Contributing to council accountability documents like the Annual Plan and Annual Report
- Analysing internal and external risks that may impact delivery
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights and practical advice
About You
- Experience in business planning, project coordination or reporting
- Ability to interpret and analyse data to support strategic decision-making
- Clear and confident communication skills - written and verbal
- A collaborative style and the ability to influence across an organisation
- Bonus: Experience working with local government planning and accountability processes
