About the Role
As the Elected Member Support Coordinator, you will provide crucial advisory support, information services, and administrative assistance to our elected members. You will act as the trusted link between councillors, senior management, and the organisation, ensuring smooth communication and effective governance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for elected members, understanding their priorities, and managing requests.
- Coordinating training, meetings, remuneration, expenses, and travel arrangements.
- Managing governance processes, policies, and compliance, including official information requests.
- Supporting strategic planning, elections, and special projects.
- Ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and political neutrality in all interactions.

- Experience in local government or a governance setting.
- Strong political acumen with the ability to navigate complex environments with discretion.
