At Compass Group, we have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember. As such, we have an exciting opportunity for an amazing Full-Time Catering Supervisor within our Air New Zealand New Plymouth Lounge.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Deliver professional customer service by providing a warm, friendly, and welcoming style of service to all customers.
• Maintain clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, sweeping, mopping floors, and handling waste and linen.
• Supervise, train, and coordinate staff, modeling high standards of performance and behavior.
• Apply basic communication skills, receiving and relaying information, and following routine instructions.
• Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating for service, and adhering to the site food safety plan.

• Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a catering environment.
• Flexible approach and attitude, with good communication skills.
• Hardworking, physically fit, and reliable.
• Able to pass police clearance.
