Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

Our Energy & Utilities business is seeking a Trainee Distribution Line Mechanic to join our experienced team in Paeroa. Reporting to the Team Leader you’ll work alongside our experienced Line Mechanics, and learn a sought-after trade and valuable skills to become a qualified Distribution Line Mechanic yourself.

You’ll get out and about in the region and be working on different sites every day doing hands on physical work, operating heavy machinery, and working outside in all weather conditions.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • Current Class 1 Full NZ Drivers Licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle required, Class 2 preferred
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Knowledge of or previous experience in the Electricity industry would be an advantage
  • A can do attitude
