The positions are based at Allan Brewster Leisure Centre (Papatoetoe), where you'll help us deliver an exciting range of community fitness and school holiday and OSCAR programmes, and work with school students and community groups across the Auckland region.
In these frontline roles, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to our customers and visitors
- Supporting with the delivery of a variety of exciting programmes for children aged 5-12
- Helping the centre maintain a caring, fun, and safe fitness and leisure environment
- Helping centre management with administration and operational duties
- Supporting centre activities, including sporting leagues and daily timetabled programmes
We have a permanent full-time 40-hour position with availability to work Monday to Friday 7am - 9pm and weekends from 8am -6pm. Flexibility is essential.

You will already be passionate about sports and recreation and be ready to step into a frontline customer service role.
You will also be responsible when it comes to working with children. You will have a flexible approach and be able to use your initiative to facilitate suitable programmes for kids.
We are looking for someone who has
- a positive attitude and infectious energy
- a good understanding of health and safety protocols
- Experience with basketball refereeing and netball umpiring would be advantageous in this role.
- A clean full driver's licence is preferred but not required
You will need a First Aid Certificate, however, we will help you attain this if you do not have one already.
