The Delivery Practice is a team which works across all areas ("chapters") of delivery, including Business Analysis, Change Management, Execution (which includes Delivery Leads and Project Management), and Portfolio. These chapters support initiatives right across ASB, helping us work in new ways, and developing outstanding customer experiences through change and transformation.

Te Tūranga | The role:

As a Business Analyst within our Wealth team, you will focus on enabling great customer outcomes by providing business analysis services.

Ideally you will have solid BA skills and be familiar with Wealth including:

  • Knowledge of Sonata (or another registry system)
  • KiwiSaver and the rules and processes that apply to it
  • Managing Registry Assets Trusts Funds
  • Tax knowledge


They will have excellent problem solving and investigative abilities and be able to

  • build requirements working across stakeholders within ASB and 3rd Parties,
  • read technical documentation
  • be well organised
  • multi-task


The role will join an established squad within our Wealth team.

You will lead projects, supported by a Lead, to help accelerate progress for all New Zealanders.

You will have at least 2 years of experience working as a Business Analyst with demonstrable skills, including:

  • Business Analysis: Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving: A talent for analytical thinking and problem-solving, getting to the essence of what customers value.
  • Attention to Detail: Good with detail and comfortable following a structured process.
  • Professional Relationships: A strong focus on building positive professional relationships and fostering a collaborative team working environment.
  • Ethics and Accountability: Ethics, personal accountability, integrity, self-organization, and time-management.
  • Growth and Results Mindset: A growth and results mindset to explore and learn new concepts, ideas, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude in the face of change.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with systems and personal/business banking.
  • Wealth experience.
