The Role

Based at our Whangarei branch, the Night Shift Supervisor leads our Freight Handler team in the loading/unloading of freight trucks and containers, and the sorting of customer freight. You will exhibit strong dedication to Health and Safety at all times, and with a hands-on approach ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of our depot. You’ll work with the broader management team to ensure service standards are met and exceeded and be a key driver in getting our customers’ freight to where it needs to be.

This is a part-time role, working Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00am to 7:00am.

Key responsibilities include

  • Building team cohesion and performance
  • Assisting Branch Manager with ensuring Health and Safety processes are followed
  • Helping out on the floor to ensure inbound and outbound freight is sorted
  • Guiding a team of 10
