"Steel-ing" the Show: We're Looking for Talented Steel Fixers!
Are you ready to shape the future, one steel bar at a time? We’re on the lookout for experienced Steel Fixers to join our dynamic team working with concrete precast panels. If you're ready to lay the foundation for success, we want to hear from you!
$30/hr rate with consistent hours Mon-Fri.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and securing steel reinforcement for concrete precast panels.
- Performing foundational work, including the preparation of steel reinforcement for foundations.
- Assembling and tying cages, ensuring they are secure and ready for pouring.
- Boxing to shape and mold the concrete in line with specifications.
- Using hand and power tools to carry out all tasks with precision.
- Ensuring all steel work complies with health and safety standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in steel fixing and reinforcing steel work.
- Must have a valid working visa or be a New Zealand/Aus resident.
- Must live in Tauranga or be able to relocate and commit to daily commutes.
- Own tools and reliable transport are a must.
- A strong understanding of health and safety practices on the job.
