Our kaiako are passionate about forming strong, collaborative relationships with families to support tamariki in their learning journey. They carefully plan activities that align with each child’s interests and developmental needs, creating a positive and stimulating environment where children feel valued and supported.

Here’s what you’ll do on a day-to day basis:

  • Provide amazing care and education to our tamariki
  • Champion the team spirit and engage in activities that empower and extend tamariki’s learning
  • Fully participate in centre activities across all classrooms and cover staff breaks where necessary
  • Support centre operations at all levels 


Role requirements:

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. An ECE qualification is not required for this role, but a natural affinity with children – especially infants and toddlers, and experience working with children under five is a must. You’ll also have a high level of initiative and an ability to take direction from others.
