Job Description
Are you a passionate communicator with a knack for building strong relationships and delivering high-quality support? We’re looking for a Stakeholder Communications Coordinator to join our Auckland-Northland Stakeholder & Communications team and help deliver exceptional experiences to our customers and communities.
Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
This is a full time, fixed term role for a period of 2 years.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement and communication for road maintenance and infrastructure projects.
- Assisting with case management of customer enquiries to ensure timely and positive outcomes.
- Creating and delivering clear, engaging communication materials — from letters, signage, to social media and community updates.
- Helping identify fresh ways to connect with our stakeholders, including through digital channels.
- Spotting and sharing success stories that showcase the great work our teams do.
- Maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a smooth flow of information.
- Providing essential administrative support to keep projects moving and teams informed.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- A relevant tertiary qualification or 2–3 years’ experience in customer service, communications/marketing, community development, or events.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with high EQ
- Strong attention to detail, organised, reliable and process driven.
- Solid IT literacy and confidence using digital tools and platforms.
- A team player with a proactive, ‘can do’ attitude.
