Do you love seeing tamariki light up with excitement as they discover the world around them?

We are on the lookout for a registered kaiako to join our team at Busy Bees Stoke for a fixed term period! Join us to nurture curiosity, build strong relationships, and create meaningful learning experiences that set our tamariki up for lifelong success.

This is a fixed term 30 hour role from March 2025 – July 2025.

Busy Bees Stoke in Nelson has a play-based approach to learning, allowing children time and space to independently explore and seek understanding of the world around them. Our Busy Bees Nelson team in Stoke is made up of passionate and experienced teachers who are warm, welcoming and naturally caring people. We see all children as individuals, valuing each unique stage of life, show them respect for who they are and providing equal opportunities to ensure the best possible start in life.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
  • Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
  • A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whanau
  • An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
  • A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
  • The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whanau
  • Excellent communication skills
