Job Description
We are looking for guards with past security (or a similar field) and leadership experience to join our front-line Security Team on-site at one of our west Auckland retail sites. With the opportunity to step up into leadership roles as well as work in other roles within the team. The role is highly dynamic and provides significant opportunity to grow with a supportive organisation committed to developing you.

Full Time Permanent roles – must be available to work day shifts and all rosters include 1 weekend day.

About Us:
Red Badge Group is New Zealand’s leading independent provider of security and crowd management services across Key Facilities.
About the role:
- Building and maintaining communication and positive relationships with stakeholders at the site, including centre management, retailers, customers and other partners.
- Assisting the office team with shift coverage
- Patrolling the mall
- Incident reporting and investigation
- Monitoring and responding to threats
- Maintaining records, daily and monthly reporting
About you:
- Some security experience or a Green COA Security License is advantageous; however if not & you are the right person, we can help you obtain one if you are 18 years old or over, have a clean criminal record & eligible to work in NZ.
- Must be available to work flexible hours and shift work – must be available at least one weekend day.
- Able to take directives on board from Operations Managers
- Strong communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with the client and take directives.
- Must be professional, reliable, confident & honest
- Possess the ability to engage & build relationships with a diverse range of people.
- Possess a professional work ethic and desire to take responsibility
- Strong focus on delivering high quality security-solutions
- Excellent verbal & written English communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness – able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
