They are seeking a dynamic and experienced people leader to manage their collaborative Residential team in the Wellington Central office. This well-established team thrives on strong referral opportunities, working alongside the region’s leading commercial team.

The exciting role will experience extensive support and assistance, backed by a strong Commercial business, high performing and well-regarded Directors as well as Bayley's Head Office (based in Auckland).

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Directors, the Branch Manager’s primary responsibility is to drive growth within the Residential teams across the Wellington and Kāpiti Coast branches, ultimately increasing market share.

Key tasks include:

Recruitment: Proactively identify and engage prospective agents with a compelling vision for success. Create a strong employment brand that attracts top talent. This is key for success.

Leadership: Empower agents to successfully run and grow their own businesses, foster a high-performance culture and lead by example, creating an environment where all teams are motivated, supported, and equipped to achieve outstanding results.

Marketing & Sales: Develop and execute strategic business plans that drive sales performance and market growth. Create a high-performance sales culture that consistently delivers exceptional results.

Submissions, Listings, and Completed Sales: Oversee the process of submitting proposals, managing property listings, and ensuring successful completion of sales transactions.

Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and materials to drive sales performance.

Financial Oversight: Manage resources effectively and efficiently to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will have (or be working towards/interested in obtaining) your Branch Manager’s licence, along with proven expertise and experience in people leadership and management. Well-networked and proactive, you will excel at identifying top-performing agents in the region and promoting the Bayley's brand.

Financially astute, you will possess strong computer skills and a solid understanding of social media. Additionally, you will be a forward-thinking team player who takes initiative and communicates effectively.
