As our Digital Copywriter you will be responsible for writing compelling brand messages specifically tailored to our digital platforms, ensuring brand alignment and consistency by crafting SEO-friendly copy for our company websites, emails, social and paid advertising.



Working closely with our digital and marketing teams to evaluate, analyse, and interpret performance metrics. (Which they will then use the insights gained to guide, inform and optimise future copy.)



The role also works closely with the wider team to deeply understand our products and brand messaging. (Based on this understanding, they will create digital executions that reflect brand consistency and product accuracy.)



Reporting to the Chief Designer – Brand & Content, you will:


  • Develop and write copy for digital content that meets business and marketing objectives for our Fisher & Paykel, Haier and DCS brands in our different country markets.
  • Collaborate with Brand & Content, Marketing and Digital team members to ensure alignment.
  • Work with the Digital team to implement SEO keywords across our digital outputs that align with business objectives digital platforms.
  • Proof-read, edit, and optimise copy for digital platforms for marketing and digital executions.
  • Write benefit-driven copy for web that will support optimisation and engagement goals, conversions and incentives.
  • Craft captivating copy for digital media ads, such as Facebook, Instagram, Adwords and Display Ads that encourages engagement/action.
  • Develop email marketing copy that encourages strong open and click-through rates.
  • Manage time and stakeholder expectations around deadlines and ensure copy is reliably completed on time and on brief.
  • Recommend improvement ideas to peers and other business stakeholders. Provide informed suggestions to deliver optimal solutions based on data insights.
  • Keep in front of trends and emerging technologies to ensure our brands are leading in the digital space.
  • Operate as part of broader copy team to deeply understand our brands and products. Look for opportunities in the digital marketing space to help bring to life brand content.






What we are looking for  



You will have excellent written English and strong editing skills. Be digitally savvy, a creative thinker with strong knowledge of SEO and keyword research. And effectively integrate keyword strategy into copy and content. Possess a strong knowledge of Facebook, Twitter/”X”, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media best practices. Understand Google Analytics for insight reporting.

An ability to manage the workload with exceptional organisational skills. Have a strong user-centric mindset with good awareness of the wider digital and marketing ecosystem, ranging from UX, development, e-commerce, performance marketing, data analytics, support and strategy.
