Job Title: Certified Occupational Hygienist

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational hygiene assessments, including exposure monitoring, risk assessments, and control measures implementation.
  • Develop and implement effective occupational hygiene programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on occupational health hazards, prevention strategies, and best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients and their employees on occupational hygiene principles and practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on assessment findings and communicate them effectively to clients.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions.



Qualifications:

  • Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) designation or equivalent certification.
  • Full membership with the New Zealand Occupational Hygiene Society (NZOHS).
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in conducting occupational hygiene assessments and implementing control measures.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
