Our client a globally recognised manufacturer based in Mangere in Auckland. They manufacture air conditioning and ventilation products, and these are exported around the world.

We are looking for 2 x Electrical Testers to join their rapidly growing team to assist with electrical assembly and testing.

About Role:
You will be wiring & testing air conditioner units and their components, enabling the department to run on schedule, producing correct quantities and acceptable quality.

  • General assembly and connection of components
  • Assemble, construct and fit electrical control box
  • Connect motor, sensor, sensor, and supply cables as required
  • Electrically test each unit and inspect defective units
  • Carry out quality checks with live wires and conductors in single phase and/or 3 phase
  • Fault finding where unit testing standards are not met.
  • Charge and recover refrigerants and leak test and certify units
  • You will have the opportunity to progress quickly in this role. They have a skills-based par structure so the more skills you gain the more you can earn.


Hours: 6:45am – 3:15pm + plenty of overtime if desired.

About You:

  • Electrical assembly experience
  • Holds an EST License
  • Or holds a TLC license with at least 3000 hours completed.
  • Knowledge of single phase and 3 phase
  • Previous experience as an Electrical tester would be valuable
  • Manufacturing environment experience
  • Attention to detail


You need to work well within a team, be able to take direction, but work autonomously when needed.
