Te tūranga | The role:

As a Business Manager, your goal will be to ensure ASB is providing needs-based banking solutions for SME business customers; ensuring customers financial needs and goals are met and that we are delivering an unbeatable customer experience.

Capitalising on the wider ASB connections and through your own networks, you will identify new to bank opportunities and build successful customer-driven relationships both internally and externally in the market.

This is a secondment opportunity until August 2025, based in Sylvia Park.

Ō pūkenga | About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of the Business Banking SME market backed by your developed network in which you can draw on to generate new market opportunities, while being a respected and credible voice within the sector.

Your broad knowledge of the banking/finance industry will complement your background in identifying and building new networks and relationships, alongside excellent communication and influencing skills.

It will be your proven experience and success as a business banker, along with a strong understanding of banking procedures and policies, including preparation of credit and lending submissions, that will demonstrate you have the right technical skills for this role.
