Job Description

Geneva Healthcare is currently recruiting for an experienced support worker to provide a high standard of care to vulnerable adult in Swanson, West Auckland.

Shifts available:

  • Monday – Sunday
  • 7.30am to 6pm


In this role you will be:

  • Providing full personal cares, including – Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Medication Oversight/Support and Assistance
  • Experienced and confident with the use of a Hoist and Client Transfers
  • Assisting with General house hold cleaning, including – Vacuuming/Wash floors/Windows/Laundry/Making the bed/Changing bed linen
  • Engaging and encouraging with excellent communication skills/Support in Therapy exercises/Mobility and positioning/
  • Meal preparation – Meals, Snacks, Tea and clean up


Requirements:

  • Must have experience in providing complex care (catheter and stoma care, use of a hoist and safe transfers)
  • Must have a clean and valid full driver’s license
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ
  • L3/L4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing
