Who We Are

Tranzurban operates 60% of the Metlink bus network in the Greater Wellington region, for the GWRC. Part of the 100% NZ owned and operated Tranzit Group, Tranzurban has depots in Rongotai, Grenada, Wainuiomata, Taita and Upper Hutt. We are always on the lookout for people with excellent customer services skills. We run a regular training school where we pay you to learn to be a bus driver, upskilling where required to get your Class 2 and/or Class 4 licence and supporting you to get your Passenger endorsement. Our qualified drivers earn $30 an hour and have guaranteed 80 hours a fortnight across a rotating roster. Interested?
