Our clients are seeking experienced, Qualified Electricians to be responsible for performing skilled electrical work in the maintenance, installation, alteration and repair of electrical equipment, systems and fixtures. You will adhere to NZ electrical standards at all times.



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reading and understanding technical blueprints and diagrams
  • General electrical maintenance and repairs to meet customer requirements
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical control, wiring and lighting systems
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
  • Fixing and replacing equipment, fixtures and electrical wiring
  • Examine circuit breakers, transformers and other electrical components
  • Complete relevant tasks as requested by other managers &/or team members
  • Use and care for hand tools and equipment necessary to perform various electrical repairs tasks
  • Comply with New Zealand laws and regulations regarding safety
  • Install electrical fitting to existing houses, building &/or other structures
  • Draw circuits on a diagram for controls
  • Plan and manage own work to ensure a satisfactory and cost-effective outcome



About You:

  • Fully qualified Electrician, registered with EWRB
  • Motivated with a hands-on attitude
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and able to follow instructions
  • Ability to work unsupervised
