Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Advisor to join their team for a four-month role starting immediately. This role involves responding to settled claims.

The work requires both front-line phone communication and back-office tasks such as eligibility setup and finance paperwork. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles, within a call centre environment, and will demonstrate resilience, patience, and empathy.

What you'll do:

As a Customer Service Advisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve handling phone calls from individuals about their claims, providing them with additional services once their cases are settled. You'll also be tasked with back-office duties such as setting up eligibility and preparing paperwork for finance. Your ability to stay calm under pressure will be crucial in this role, as you'll often need to mitigate situations with claimants. Your resilience, patience, and empathy will be key assets in this role.

• Responding to claims and allegations via phone calls
• Performing back-office tasks including eligibility setup and finance paperwork
• Maintaining calm under pressure and ensuring accuracy in all documentation
• Mitigating situations with claimants by asking the right questions for the right information
• Demonstrating resilience, patience, and empathy at all times

You're comfortable handling phone calls professionally and empathetically, even in challenging situations. Your experience extends to back-office tasks such as eligibility setup and finance paperwork. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy when completing paperwork/documentation.
