Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide strategic financial analysis, budgeting, and investment support in a complex operating environment. You will be working closely with senior management and the wider Finance Directorate, providing high-quality advice and preparing insightful financial reports for senior leadership. What you'll do:
As a Senior Management Accountant, your role will be pivotal in shaping the financial direction of the organisation. You will lead the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all communications.
Lead the financial reporting process across various levels of management
Maintain complete monthly financial statements to support financial reports
Develop models to support forecasting requirements within consolidated reports
Work with the Management Accounting Team to lead the annual Budget process
Provide trusted financial advice including strategic financial analysis to assigned branches
Prepare, analyse, and review complex financial models, documents, reports and proposals
Co-ordinate and develop budgets for the Corporate Centre
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Management Accountant position brings a wealth of skills and qualifications to the table. You have significant experience in consolidated reporting and commentary for senior stakeholders. As an individual, you are proactive, motivated, well organised, able to multitask under pressure while meeting reporting deadlines.
Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification with 5 years' experience
Significant experience in consolidated reporting and commentary for senior stakeholders
Extensive experience in consolidated budgeting and planning to support the Strategic Framework
Advanced levels of computer literacy, including Excel and Power BI (desirable)
Able to interact and advise at the CFO/CE/Board level
