Job Description

Position Overview

We are now seeking two Senior Tutors (0.5 FTE) on a fixed-term basis for 9 months (18.75 hours per week) to support the Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Guidance Studies within the Institute of Education. These roles will work under the supervision of the Programme Coordinator, assisting with online teaching, student support, marking, and course administration. The positions are available in Auckland, Palmerston North, or can be worked remotely, off campus.

Tutors will work with academic staff, supporting the online delivery and assessments of the four courses in the programme.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A postgraduate qualification in guidance and counselling.
  • Familiarity with Massey’s Counselling and Guidance Studies Programme.
  • Proficiency with online learning technologies and digital platforms.
  • A reliable internet connection and an up-to-date device for remote work.
  • A strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to supporting Māori and diverse student communities.
