We are on the lookout for a registered kaiako to join our team at Busy Bees Te Rapa! Our centre is a warm, welcoming space where tamariki feel loved, nurtured, and free to explore. As part of our team, you will help create a homely environment where little hearts and minds can flourish.

Busy Bees Te Rapa is all about fun, excitement and most importantly setting children up for a lifetime of learning. Our Teachers are passionate about encouraging children's creativity, supporting their emerging social interactions, and celebrating their individual successes.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
  • Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
  • A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whanau
  • An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
  • A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
  • The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whanau
  • Excellent communication skills
