WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Manage and execute NZME’s digital customer journey strategy to acquire, engage, and retain customers.
Design and implement data-driven, targeted campaigns across digital platforms.

HOW YOU'LL DO IT:

  • Acquisition and Conversion Optimisation: Drive customer acquisition through strategic opportunities, collaborate with marketing teams, and optimise conversion rates.
  • Engagement and Retention: Develop data-driven campaigns to enhance engagement and retention, design personalised content experiences, and improve customer lifetime value.
  • Customer Journey Design and Execution: Implement the end-to-end strategy and design of customer journeys, use UX and data insights, and optimise the reader monetisation tech stack.
  • Revenue Growth: Increase awareness and drive engagement to convert users to paying subscribers through targeted initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Be the ‘super user’ of marketing automation and subscription management platforms, maintain compliance with regulations, and implement advanced tools for content personalisation.


ABOUT YOU:

  • 2-5 years of experience in direct marketing or campaign experience (experience with marketing automation platforms a plus)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • An effective communicator who can relate confidently and appropriately with people inside and outside the organisation.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, MailChimp, SendGrid, Zephr) and data-driven personalisation tools.
  • Adaptable, innovative, and focused on continuous improvement.
