Job Description

We are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to work with our client based in Kaitaia. Our client has epilepsy. Due to the complexity of cares commitment to the shifts is vital. They need assistance with daily chores, personal care, dressing, grooming and community support. This is more than just a job – you will be providing invaluable support.

This is a role where no two days are the same. You will have the ability to work one on one with our clients, to ensure they live their best life possible.

Requirements:

  • Competency in epilesy management.
  • Competency in intellectal disability.
  • Competency in CPR and emergency management.
  • Assisting clients with personal cares.
  • Confident to handle cares independently.
  • Must have a clean and valid NZ driving licence.
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ.
  • Subject to clean police clearance check.
  • Able to commit to the shifts.
  • Training will be provided.


Tasks:

Constant monitoring of epilesy and behaviour change
Bathing, feeding, grooming, community support & developmental therapies

Timings:

Monday 10:00 to 16:00
Wednesday 10:00 to 16:00
Thursday 10:00 to 16:00
Friday 10:00 to 16:00
